Hand and Finger Fracture Reparations
Hand and finger fractures can form in both open and closed forms. The broken bones are fixed with plates and screws or with the help of wires by bringing them from tip to tip. Reparation of vessel, nerve, and tendon injuries can also be repaired along with the fracture. Open wounds can be closed with skin grafts or skin transfers of there is lack of skin. Removal of plates and screws may not be needed to be removed after the bone has healed but the wires are removed 30-45 days later depending on the fractures location and shape.
