Nasal Fractures

Nose is the organ getting most shocks on the face because it makes protrusion on the front part of our face. Nasal fracture can be treated under local anesthesia if it is mild. If the fracture is serious it is treated under general anesthesia in surgery room.

Septum deviation repair and concha minimizing can be performed also in adults if middle part of the nose is fractured. Tampon is installed inside of the nose for keeping nasal bones corrected in place. Tampons are taken out after 1-3 days and splint after 1 week.

Esthetic nose surgery can be performed with nasal fracture at the same time but better result can be obtained if esthetic surgery is performed after 3-6 months if the structure is deteriorated severely.
